Vintage Ruffles

A little soft and oh so sweet vintage inspiration. This vintage board has so many great textures involved. Ruffles are definitely in this year and what better way to accent your look than with a few ruffles, some tuelle pompoms and lots of ostrich feathers! Not to mention I am completely loving the color palette on this one.

Style Me Pretty - Style Circle

I was given the opportunity to create an inspiration board for Style Me Pretty. Below is inspiration for my own wedding that is taking place June 12, 2010. Vintage Gold and Ivory, gorgeous and oh so timeless! I can't seem to get enough of this color palette! The lace lanterns, from Heritage Lace are an absolute favorite. I am creating a huge chandelier above the King's table (head table) that should really just make the Pella Opera House look stunning when you step inside!

Burgues Script

"Every once in a while a typeface makes you step back and appreciate the letter forms from the words they spell."

I love the Burgues font! I came across it while searching for a script font for my own wedding invitations. I wanted a font that could lend itself to the design element of my invitations. Not wanting to use the typical damask or paisley prints ... I thought this font was just perfect. It's hard to find a script that looks great AND flows oh so nicely together. Burgues Script was created by Argentinean type designer Alejandro Paul. I just think it's just so gorgeous yet traditional wedding with the lovely swirls and curls!
