Black and Silver Flourish Invitations - NYE Inspired

The Gavin's are having a NYE wedding and it is going to be fabulous! These ladies know how to coordinate everything when it comes to stationery. Can't wait to post pictures of all the little extras we are currently working on for the reception. Water bottle labels, signage, programs, place cards, menus, gable boxes and more.

Here are a few pictures of the black and silver flourish - New Year's Eve invitation suite:

Love the picture timeline of events! Great way to inform guests of the itinerary for the day!

Metallic sash with square embellish holds the entire pocketfolder together. We also placed a small rhinestone on the G for a little NYE bling!

Purple + Damask Inspired Shower Invitations

I am so very lucky to have the Gavin Girls as my client! I get tingles when clients want coordinating stationery ... and the Gavin's wont settle for anything but that! ... and these are just the shower invitations! Can't wait to share the wedding invitations later this year.

Gloria was hosting a 'girls only' shower in the morning for the Bride-to-Be and then wanted to invite the 'men' in the family to a party hosted by the Gavin's in the evening. We wanted to keep everything in a perfect little package so we addressed the main shower invitation to the ladies and then placed and inner envelope addressed to the couple along with the party invite and placed inside the shower envelope.

Machined calligraphy and custom stamps were a great way to tie the entire package together!

Couture also created custom recipe cards that were placed in each envelope for the guests to fill out and bring with the day of. (Of course we had matching recipe card dividers and signage on the box once the guests arrived as well!)

Napkin bands, thank you cards and Bingo cards were also created for the shower.

Sangria Inspired Circles

Miss Whitney Givens and Grant Tucker are good friends of ours and I was delighted when I had the opportunity to work with them! Whitney is the most easy going client I have had to date. Whitney and Grant wanted fun, simple and modern invitations to send their guests.

We landed on this circle design that I think fits Whitney's bubbly personality perfectly!

Purple + Green Calligraphy Inspired

I had the pleasure of meeting Anna earlier this year. Come to find out ... Anna and her fiance Austin were house hunting right in the neighborhood my husband and I just recently settled into. Throughout the process of working with them - we officially became neighbors!

Anna + Austin chose a really fun color palette of greens, purples and gray. Can't get enough of purple this season! Anna wanted something simple yet different. The names in the Burgess font in the corner give the invitation suite a little texture without committing to a paisley or damask print. Love the simplicity of this set.

Details card with info regarding cocktail and reception details. Custom map on the back along with accommodation info on the reverse. And a matching postcard reply to complete the set.

Allen Family Dentistry - Creating an Identity

I am often surrounded by all things wedding and pretty so when I get the opportunity to remove myself from all the frills and fluff I don't pass it up! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE everything about a wedding and all the nitty gritty details that go into planning such an event. But I also really enjoy being able to create an identity for a business owner from my hometown in Pella, Iowa, Allen Family Dentistry!

Dr. Jeff Allen provides general dentistry for people of all ages in Central Iowa. They are located on the square in Pella, in a beautifully renovated turn of the century building. Jane Smith, an interior and exterior designer from Pella, is revamping their space inside and out to give it a more modern and urban feel. She makes everything look fabulous!

I wanted to create a logo that worked with the new direction their building was headed and this is what we landed on!

Very thankful for these opportunities and am glad I am able to help those in the community I grew up in!

Gray + Pink (Guava) Modern Flourish

I have had the honor of working on my brother Aaron and his Fiancée Jenn's custom wedding invitations and all things coordinating! Jenn and Aaron want nothing shy of a modern yet very elegant wedding. Aaron and Jenn's invites are enclosed in a metallic gray pocket folder with a pink (guava) band that has their name and wedding date printed on the front. A perfect little package for their guests to open!

Aaron and Jenn's color palette is gray, black and guava. However ... guava (also known as coral with a brighter flair) is an up and coming color for the savvy brides (way to be ahead of the trend J!). Guava was a very difficult color to match ... but we came REAL close.

They had lots of information to include so Couture Invitations created several stacking cards that housed everything from their ceremony, reception and accommodation info to a map, cocktail hour details and a reply card.

Since my mum and dad were taking care of the rehearsal dinner ... we made one other stacking card - 'rehearsal and dinner' for a select number of guests. This was placed in all the wedding party's invitation suite. This is a great way to keep all your wedding details for your guests/wedding party together in one place ... And helps save on postage and the cost of a separate invite!

Couture Invitations has also created Jenn and Aaron's save the date! More pictures to come once we have created their programs, bar signage, thank you boxes, welcome bag thank yous and menus.

Black and Yellow Flourish - Iowa Hawkeyes Inspired

This black pocketfolder invitation with yellow flourish accents on white metallic paper is so fun! This was my first invitation suite that was based on a color scheme from their favorite football team - Black and Gold for the Iowa Hawkeyes! Love how we can turn something so manly and physical into something so fun and gorgeous!

Hillary's invitation suite was housed in a black pocketfolder with a stacking detail, reply and accommodation card enclosed. I always love how pocketfolders keep everything tidy and makes for the perfect presentation when opened.

The set was tied together with a fun metallic silver band to keep the pocketfolder sealed and a fun yellow ribbon to tie in the Hawkeye gold!

Silver and Ivory Rhinestone Buckle Invitation

Really love how this set turned out! Miss Nicole has been such fun to work with and meet up with for a coffee every now and again.

Nicole found the velum pocket folder while out shopping one afternoon and came to me with the hopes that we could incorporate this into a custom design. She didn't like any other elements the DIY box of invites came with so we kept the folders and ditched the rest!

So glad we did because the metallic paper we used and the ivory ribbon and rhinestone buckle we added works so well together!

She is planning a destination wedding so we had lots of details to capture. The back of the detail card houses the agenda for the entire weekend.

Couture Invitations offers machined calligraphy for your invitation suite! A great way to coordinate the fonts used on the inside with the outer envelope.

Baby Shower Invitations

I had the pleasure to design a baby shower invitation for one of my best friends, Jennifer Schmidt. She is expecting a little bebe boy!

We played around with several design options and this is what she choose to go with.

Here are a couple of my other favorite styles we came up with as options as well.
