Shelly Sarver Studio - Floral and Event Design

When I was planning my own wedding back in 2010 ... I had the pleasure to work with Shelly Sarver with Shelly Sarver Studio - Floral and Event Design for our flowers. She did such a wonderful job and I am so pleased that she was able to take my ideas and make them ever so real and fabulous!

Shortly after my wedding, Shelly contacted me to design a logo for her business. I was more than thrilled to be able to work with her yet again but this time put MY design capabilities to work for her! Don't get me wrong ... I LOVE creating invitations ... but also love when I get to work on something new now and again such as logo creation or even website design for a client.

Shelly came to me with a pretty good handle on what she wanted for her logo (the color yellow and a chrysanthemum) ... and in the end decided to go with a look that is modern in style yet simple and chic!

Shelly does some of the most gorgeous floral work I have ever seen. Below are a few photos I wanted to share from my own wedding. Photography is courtesy of Off The Square Portrait Studio.

Thanks, Shelly ... for letting me return the favor!

Navy Vintage Scroll

This set might be my new favorite! Miss Olsen wanted vintage yet sleek and I must say ... I think we accomplished that! Navy is a great color and I don't get to use it often so I was really excited when Katrina contacted me! She wanted to be conservative on the number of elements she had inside the envelope ... so the ones that we did place in there really needed to 'wow' her guests.

The one thing that I feel really made this piece so unique was the envelope. She wanted to incorporate some of the same elements from the invitation on to the outer envelope. The navy vintage scroll wraps from the front to the back leaving the perfect space for a guests address and your return address on the flap!
